This stage is the flight training required for the candidate in order to perform any commercial flight activity. This is the stage in which flight movements learned basically in PPL are repeated with lower fault tolerance.
This training is given for students that take IR training for 15 hours. That’s why the candidates that target airlines are recommended to initially complete the IR stage and then proceed to this stage. In this way, the candidate can enter the control flight of both at the same time. The candidate must pass all the exams of the 14 courses in the ATPL training in order to get into control.
