In the pilotage department, different evaluation methods such as mid-term exam, assignment, exercise, project, practice, and final are practiced.  Classic exam, multiple-choice test, homework, performance evaluation, and product evaluation might take place among the evaluation methods. In order to graduate from the program, the cumulative grade point average must be at least 2.00. The score of a course is determined as the result of evaluations of the factors above and given as letter.

Courses are classified as department courses, theoretical flight courses (PPL and ATPL theoretical information courses), and actual flight courses. Grades and coefficients of the department courses are as below.

A student that gets one of the A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, and S scores from a course is considered to have passed that course. In order for a student that gets one of the C- or D+ scores to be considered as successful in one course or a few courses, their end of term/year-end cumulative grade point average must be 2.00 or higher. The students whose end of term/year-end cumulative grade point average is under 2.00 are considered to have failed those courses.

The scores ad coefficients of the theoretical and actual flight courses are as below.
