A candidate that would like to be an airline pilot must initially receive PPL training that includes basic theoretical trainings and develops basic skills used by a pilot. This training consists of theoretical courses which are not under 210 hours in total and a flight training of 46 hours 30 minutes.
After the theoretical trainings given at the beginning of the course, the student is asked to take the exam held by SGHM and achieve %75 success in one of their rights to the exam. A student that fails 4 times in the exam receives re-take training and becomes entitled to 4 rights again. A student that shows the required success in the exam is sent by our school to the flight line in order to perform a flight of 45 hours.
During these flight trainings, the student learns how to use the controls of the plane, basic air movements, basic instrument flight training, and basic navigation safely. If the flight instructor sees fit, the student performs their first single flight in the 15. Hour and flies alone for 12 hours in total of 45 hours during this training.
At the end of 45. hour, a control pilot assigned by SHGM tests the skills of the student with a flight of 1 hour 30 minutes, and if these skills are considered adequate PPL (Private Pilot License) is issued for the student.
Our PPL Trainings last approximately for 3-4 months combined with ground courses if the meteorological conditions are suitable.
Our flight trainings are given with the brand new, latest model of Viper SD4 aircrafts. Our aircrafts are glass cockpit, have the latest technological equipment and also the aircraft has its own parachute for safety.
